Description

This tablet case was handmade with up cycled clothing called wipils in Guatemala. The pattern is specific to a mayan tribe. The blouses are worn for about 20-30 years then sold for income, and our artisans sew them into handicrafts!

  • One zipper top closure
  • One back zippered pocket
  • Tablet not included
  • Measures 8.5 x11
  • Generous cotton stuffing makes this a great protective case to carry anywhere.
  • Bird in pattern may be looking in the other direction, other than that the pattern is the same as the photo.
    • QUETZAL CRAFTS – GUATEMALA
In the outskirts of Antigua, Guatemala 3 different women s groups have all received small business loans from World Vision International. They are comprised of women from the Mayan Tribe, and are heirs of a long line of weavers and embroiderers. They come from very rural areas in Guatemala and exist off of very little income. The purchase of this product helps employ those in the rural villages of Antigua and supports these women s small businesses!
